Top 5 NFL Games of 2025 One Hour After Schedule Release

May 15, 2025 by Madison Marx

The time has come. The 2025 NFL regular season schedule is officially out, and with it comes plenty of thrilling matchups that fans can’t wait to see play out.

While each NFL team’s opponents have been known for months, the schedule release reveals when those matchups will take place. The timing of each matchup—whether it’s a primetime slot, early-season test, or revenge game—can significantly influence fan anticipation and impact ticket prices.

Check out the five hottest NFL tickets an hour after the schedule dropped on May 14, according to Vivid Seats sales data.

1. Week 1 (9/4/2025): Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles (TNF)

Coming in at No. 1: the Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles, with an average ticket price of $1,743. It’s a familiar divisional rivalry, but Jalen Hurts and Dak Prescott have surprisingly only gone head-to-head three times. One of the two quarterbacks has missed seven of their 10 potential matchups due to injury or rest. The timing of this Week 1 clash all but guarantees both stars will be on the field, setting the stage for an early-season test between these NFC East rivals.

2. Week 13 (11/27/25): Kansas City Chiefs at Dallas Cowboys (Thanksgiving Day)

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs will head to Dallas to face Dak Prescott and the Cowboys on Nov. 27. This will mark Mahomes’ first NFL appearance in Arlington, Texas—a true homecoming for the Texas native. Tickets for this Thanksgiving Day showdown are averaging $1,491 per ticket.

3. Week 4 (9/28/25): Green Bay Packers at Dallas Cowboys (SNF)

Ranking third among the hottest games is the Green Bay Packers’ Sunday Night Football visit to Arlington in late September, with an average ticket price of $1,295 to get into AT&T Stadium. With Dallas accounting for three of the five most in-demand games by average ticket price, it’s clear the Cowboys remain one of the NFL’s biggest box office draws.

4. Week 1 (9/7/25): Baltimore Ravens at Buffalo Bills (SNF)

Sunday Night Football starts with a bang this year, with a rematch of last year’s thrilling Divisional Round showdown. The Bills’ home opener features a head-to-head matchup between the last two NFL MVPs, Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson. With both quarterbacks among the top MVP contenders for 2025, the average ticket price for this primetime clash is $1,183.

5. Week 18 (TBD): New York Jets at Buffalo Bills

The New York Jets were the first opponent at Highmark stadium in 1973. Now they will have the distinction of being the final regular-season opponent at Highmark Stadium during the weekend of Jan. 3-4, 2026. Tickets to witness this historic moment are averaging $1,169.
