AFC Preview: Steelers at Jets

All eyes will be on MetLife Stadium in Week 1 as the Steelers visit the Jets. With Aaron Rodgers now in Pittsburgh, the four-time MVP begins his own revenge tour this season.

Key Storylines:

Rodgers’ Revenge Begins: Week 1 marks Rodgers’ first game with the Steelers as he faces the Jets, the team that passed on bringing him back for a third season in New York.

Steeler Nation Travels: Expect a strong road presence. Vivid Seats Fan Forecast® projects a 53/47 split in favor of the Steelers at MetLife Stadium.

Fields Faces His Past: Rodgers won’t be the only one looking for revenge in that game. Justin Fields makes his Jets debut against the same Steelers squad that benched him after just six starts in 2024.

NFC Preview: 49ers at Seahawks

The Seahawks host the 49ers on Sept. 7, which is in Seattle, but could feel like “Levi’s North.”

Key Storylines:

Home Away From Home: Vivid Seats estimates that 49ers fans will comprise 56% of the crowd at Lumen Field for the NFC West showdown.

Seahawks Look to Set the Tone: After ending a six-game losing streak to the 49ers last season, the Seahawks will look to set an early tone in the NFC West, while also trying to recapture a dominant home-field advantage after going just 3-6 at Lumen Field last year.

49ers Faithful on the Move: Fans are traveling an average of 680 miles to watch the 49ers face the Seahawks in Seattle, making this Week 1’s most traveled matchup.

Road Warriors: Eagles Set to Soar Again

Coming off their Super Bowl win, Eagles fans soared to the No. 1 road fanbase in 2024, according to Vivid Seats’ Fan Forecast®. The 49ers, Bills, Steelers, and Raiders round out the top five road fanbases.
